2000Km/year 220kv submarine cable project smoothly passed the inspection and acceptance of Group Company on September 5, 2013. This project involves a total investment of 520 million yuan, with an area of 75158 square meters, which is one of the key project the Group invested and started on the basis of successful construction of 1000Km submarine cable project in Dongying port economic development zone, and for the purpose of expanding product scale and extending the industrial chain. This project was formally launched in March 2013. After 17 months of continuous efforts day and night, the project construction, auxiliary project, equipment installation and debugging were completed in the middle of August 2013. Now it has been put into operation and produced efficiency.
For this project, 220kv catenary lines that the project utilized was introduced from Maillefer Company in Finland. This equipment is the most advanced production facility, which is equipped with on-line monitoring device and material purifying system with a continuous production cycle of 15 days (10 days routinely). Vertical cabling armoring machine is also the most advanced domestically and biggest internationally equipment with single tray pay-off of 10 meters. In the whole production process, take-up and pay-off in ground rotary type is equipped between processes with a maximum diameter of 24 meters. The disposition of above production equipment completely ensures clients’ requirements of large length and large diameter.
2000Km/year 220kv submarine cable project’s putting into operation formally marks that our company’ submarine cable ranked first in length production capacity, anti-corrosion ability and production scale. The cable company ranks top five of wire and cable industry in domestic. It effectively relieves the situation that our country’ submarine cable depended on import over a long period of time and also promotes the ocean development in our country.
