Wanda Jembo provides Type T rod couplings with superb dimensional consistency. Beginning with cold drawn, AISI 1045M bar stock, Wanda Jembo couplings are machined to API 11B specifications. The threads are applied through cold forming and the couplings are black oxide coated to reduce thread galling and to protect the coupling from atmospheric corrosion. For enhanced resistance to abrasion and corrosion the high quality T couplings are flame sprayed with a nickel- chromium powdered metal coating. To the best of our knowledc there have been no field failures caused by application.
